Creamy Delight: Paneer Kaju Curry - Indulge in the Richness of Cashews and Paneer!


250 grams paneer, cut into cubes
1 cup cashew nuts, soaked in water for 30 minutes
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 medium-sized tomatoes, finely chopped
2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 cup heavy cream
Salt to taste
Oil for cooking
Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing


1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them crackle.
2. Add chopped onions and sauté till they turn golden brown.
3. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Sauté for a minute. 4. Add chopped tomatoes and cook till they turn soft.
5. Add soaked cashew nuts and mix well.
6. Add coriander powder, garam masala powder, red chili powder,
and turmeric powder. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
7. Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool down.
8. Blend it into a smooth paste once the mixture has cooled down.
9. Heat oil in a pan and add the blended paste. Cook for 2-3 min. 10. Add cubed paneer and mix well.
11. Add heavy cream and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
12. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve with rice or naan.
